Congratulations to Phil and all of the club members who helped out for the heli event. The turn out was great and the club made a little money. I think that this event is a keeper. CM

Just a Quick Debrief. About 35 heli pilots signed up for the event. The youngest was 10 years old. The majority were 3D pilots with 2 scale ships thown in. The pilot feedback was generaly good, the only negative comment is that there should have been a designated hotel for the out of town visitors. The runway was opened for normal ops about noon, but the heli pilots were invited to stay as long as they wanted. I was taken literally when at 5PM there were several helis still flying on the west end of the feild. The winner of the 3D contest was Dave D one of our local pilots. He ended his routine about 15 seconds short when he performed a high speed tail slide that ultimately ended up in the dirt. The NTSB is still looking for parts. From all aspects as CD, and Treasurer the event was a success, by that I mean there were happy heli pilots with no complaints or issues, and as a club we operated at a positive cash flow. Our own Stephanie won the DX7 Radio. Thank you to all the club voluteers. Steve, Mike Chris and Chris, Stepanie, Wayne and any others that may have slipped my mind at this moment.
Thanks
Craig
