It does not look like this board has been very active, but I thought the club should know that the feed back about the club support on the RC Combat website has been very positive about the last contest.
I would like to add my Kudos to the club members that stepped up to help out. Over the last 3 years that I have flown combat at this club and during my travels to other clubs there are some common things that make for a great event. The most important is the club members and their support during the event.
The events that club members do not attend and help with judging, the events take MUCH LONGER and as a competitor you are spent after day one. The best events I have been to have had many judges on hand and I have met some great people. The rounds get started much faster and the day day goes by quickly and becomes very fun. No one including the judges are spent. The added benefit is the field is clear for some great fellowship/flying at the end of the day.
I think as a club the members did a great job at this last event, please keep up the good work. I hope some of our local pilots will consider competing in future events and you know that myself and Chris are always available to help anyone get started in combat.
Check your six Bushwhacked 11 starts in April.
