I have been mouring the loss of my 33% Extra 330. The funeral was nice and the balsa pieces looked nice in the casket. But I think I need to move on and build a new airframe.  I have been torn between the vast lines of large aircraft.

Price is a concern as I am not independently wealthy, But I want the best bang for the buck. I have narrowed my choices to a SD YAk or 260  Or the Aeroworks Yak or 260.

I am calling out to my brothers to add your 2 cents worth as to which is the consumer reports best buy.

well i'll give this little tid bit scince i have seen them both fly... SD or AEROWORKS are both great kits. but, after seeing some of the SD kits fly this past weekend, i should have never sold my SD YAK. now for my new planes, yes im selling everything and going BIGGER,  i am torn between the carden 35%'rs or the 35% SD YAK, if you dont want to build a kit, go with the SD kit she's a floater !! but nothin beats a carden !!!  boots and i are learning alot about different kits and stuff, man, i can talk this stuff for hours but my fingers wont be able to keep up with me....lol if your going to be up at the field this weekend we can talk then, or here it doesn't matter.

I got money in my pocket buring a hole for a new airframe. DA gave the engine a clean bill of health and it is in transit back to FL.

Maybe the build did not make the forum but this was before I got the AW 260. Extra's are scale arent they?? (the 35% is a clue)
